Tessa is a Scottish historian and broadcaster who read History at St Hilda's College, Oxford. Tessa has presented a variety of history programmes and written many books, mostly focusing on women, war and the royal family. Her most recent publication is on the subject of our talk and is entitled Lest We Forget: War and Peace in 100 British Monuments.
